In order to make it convenient for the car to run in different seasons or different regions, the viscosity of the internal combustion engine oil used can be well adapted without the need to change the oil, and more importantly, to reduce the low-temperature viscosity of the internal combustion engine oil and reduce the low-temperature start of the car The mechanical friction and wear of the machine is beneficial to energy saving and prolonging the life of the engine.

At present, multi-grade oils (or thickened oils) have been widely used in vehicle internal combustion engine oils all over the world, and their viscosity characteristics can adapt to the viscosity requirements across multiple different viscosity grades, such as 10W/30, 15W/40, etc. This multi-grade oil is made up of a lower viscosity base oil and a viscosity index improver (x agent). The reason why multi-grade oil is beneficial to energy saving and wear reduction is obvious. Because the viscosity of single-grade oil is generally higher when the car is started at low temperature, that is, the oil has a higher internal friction resistance, and therefore it is difficult to be pumped quickly for lubrication. In this way, the frictional resistance is relatively large, which causes the fuel consumption of the car to start to be many times more than the normal fuel consumption in the same time.
